Why should I work with a Travel Consultant?
We make things easier, more convenient, save you time, and get you more value for your money. You probably have a trusted accountant that does your taxes every year, work with a financial advisor on your retirement plan, and have a lawyer review important contracts. Travel is a big monetary and life investment, why wouldn’t you work with an expert on maximizing your travel experiences and building a long-term travel strategy.
Why should I book with Lawson instead of doing it myself?
Our top priority is you, getting to know you and your family, and understanding how you like to travel. We will use this information in combination with our deep travel industry knowledge, expert resources and local contacts to personalize an itinerary that meets your specific preferences and travel style.
Do you book flights?
Yes, if it is part of a larger trip! We partner with an air concierge service that will research, price, and provide 24-hour monitoring and support during commercial air travel. With so many flight changes these days, that 24-hour monitoring can really come in handy.
We also arrange and manage private aviation. Quotes are available based on your specific preferences.
What happens if my travel plans change?
There are a lot of unpredictable factors that can affect your ability to travel. We will always advise you of the cancellation policies and important dates leading up to your trip. Some or all of the trip payments may be non-refundable, and for these amounts we highly recommend travel insurance. We work with an insurance specialist to ensure we can provide you with the best insurance options to suit your personal situation, particularly during the current uncertainty with travel. Please note, our trip planning fees are nonrefundable and not covered by travel insurance.
What happens if I run into an issue while traveling?
We are here to help! If you have any issues during your travels we will do our very best to support you and resolve the issues as quickly as possible. If needed, we can also leverage our local contacts at your destination to provide on the ground assistance if necessary.
What budgets do you work with?
Budgets vary greatly depending on where you are going, how long you are staying, and what activities you prefer. In order to maximize our partnerships with luxury providers, we find that we can provide the most value for week long trips for two people starting at $7,500 not including airfare.
Can you help me use my miles or points to make a booking?
Unfortunately, we are unable to assist with miles or points booking, however, we will always make sure you are earning miles or points when we do book your travel.
